Motorcyclist death crash near Gainsborough

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after colliding with a tractor and trailer just outside Blyton.
The 37-year-old man, Neil Petford, from Northorpe, collided with the green tractor which was pulling a hay trailer on Kirton Road just before 7pm on Wednesday 23rd July.

The motorcyclist, who was riding a silver Kawasaki 1,000cc motorbike, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Firefighters were also called to the scene after the hay trailer caught fire in the collision.

Lincolnshire Police are seeking information in relation to the collision

"We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision," said Insp Andy Ham.
