A MAN denied carrying out a fatal stabbing in a Gainsborough street when he made a brief appearance before a judge on Wednesday.
Stephen Buckley is accused of murdering John Sinnott outside the 42-year-old's home in Tennyson Street in the town in the early hours of 17th July this year.

Dressed in a grey-and-black tracksuit, unemployed Buckley, of Waterworks Street, Gainsborough, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Lincoln Crown Court.

Judge Michael Heath remanded the 37-year-old back into custody to await trial at the same court on 10th February next year.
