TAKE a step back in time with the Past Masters of rock ‘n’ roll’s golden era.
Juke box classics from The Shadows and Duane Eddy to The Beatles and Elvis will be performed on stage on a night guaranteed to live long in the memory.
Popular covers band Past Masters will be rewinding the clock at Worksop’s Acorn Theatre for the best of the 50s, 60s and 70s, helping visitors re-live the soundtracks to their lives by people who were there too.
The group formed in 1999 initially for a ‘one off’ charity event from a collection of professional singers and musicians who had worked with and backed many of the leading names in pop music and rock ‘n’ roll.
They have worked with such names as The Everly Brothers, Joe Cocker, Gene Pitney, Neil Sedaka, The Shadows, Dave Berry among others.
Tickets can be bought from The Acorn on Queen Street, by phone on (01909) 501817 or via the website www.acorntheatre.net.
