The ultimate celebration of the sweet sound of Motown is coming to Sheffield City Hall this month.
Now in it’s 10th successive year, Motown’s Greatest Hits - How Sweet It Is promises to be a party full of new surprises.
And the Guardian has two pairs of tickets to give away to two lucky readers.
The show celebrates and recreates all the wonderful vibes and music that originated in Detroit in the late 1950s, and takes you on a musical journey through the golden Tamla Motown days of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
This completely live show combines first class music with the slickest choreography, and an amazing band to deliver truly outstanding performances for what the producers say will be the best Motown experience you will ever have.
The five vocalists, Michael, Martell, Geo, Delroy and Jordan, are also trained dancers and the choreography will leave you breathless. They are backed and supported by their own superb musicians The Peter Brent Orchestra, a powerhouse band, all under the musical direction of Mr Peter Brent.
This promises to be an action packed show, guaranteed to have everyone singing and dancing in the aisles.
So if you remember and loved the heyday of Tamla Motown, make sure you get your ticket for Motown’s Greatest Hits - How Sweet It Is.
This 10th anniversary special promises to have the audience Dancing On The Ceiling, featuring songs from legendary artists including Lionel Richie, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson Five, The Isley Brothers, Edwin Starr and many more.
