THE FAMOUS beer festival at Gainsborough Old Hall will be returning this weekend as part of the town’s Octoberfest celebrations.

The Fourth Annual Gainsborough Beer Festival takes place at the Old Hall from Thursday 18th - Sunday 21st October.

The festival will feature 12 beers from Lancashire and Yorkshire, plus six beers from Grafters Brewery and some returning favourites. There will also ciders, perrys and, for the first time, white and rose wine. Free soft drinks will be available for those who are driving.

There will also be a quiz with beer token prizes on Thursday evening from 8.30pm, not to mention live music in the medieval kitchen on Friday evening and Saturday.

Hot and cold food made by the Old Hall will be available until 9pm.
