A traditional village summer fete will be held in the heart of West Stockwith on Saturday 12th July on the Malt Kiln, from 12noon-3pm (or in the Village Hall if wet). There will be a range of stalls as well as hot food, ice cream, and drinks. There will be games for children; entries to the fancy dress competition will be judged at 2pm. All profits will be divided between the parish church and village hall. Anyone wanting a stall (£5) should contact Stephanie on 890101.

Coffee Morning

Many thanks to everyone who supported the coffee morning last month to raise funds for the Mare & Foal Sanctuary. Organiser, Pearl Richardson, confirmed that £125 was raised for the charity, which rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes horses and ponies.

Happy Hour

The weekly Happy Hour will take a break over the summer. The next get-together is on Wednesday 3rd September, when it will be a chance to bring along your holiday snaps! The Happy Hour is a regular fixture on Wednesdays in the Village Hall from 10.00-11.00am. All are welcome, whether living in West Stockwith or not!
