9th August, 1912: PRIMROSE GARDEN PARTY AT LEA HALL

CONSIDERABLY over 1,600 guests were entertained by Mr P. B. Foster, Ruling Councillor of the local Habitation of the Primrose League, and Mrs Foster, at Lea Hall, on Wednesday afternoon.

The members of the South Ward Conservative and Unionist Association, of which Mr Foster is president, were included among the guests.

An interesting feature of the gathering was the presentation of a handsome silver loving cup to the little son of Mr Foster, and additional interest was lent to the proceedings by the presence of Dr Molson who was speaking at the Unionist meeting on the Lincoln side a few days ago, and of whom West Lindsey may see a good deal in the time to come.
