Eagles tribute band flies in to The Sands

THERE'S another top weekend of music acts coming to The Sands Venue in Gainsborough at the end of August

Pianist and singer-songwriter Paddy Milner brings his band The Big Sounds to the Lord Street venue on Friday 28th August.

His blend of quirky originality, funky soul and amazing boogie style piano playing has prompted such luminaries as Dave Brubeck and Jools Holland to sit up and take notice.

He has now teamed up with American Blues icon Earl Thomas whose voice and way of singing is immediately passionate, soulful, powerful and very original.

Tickets are 15 and an optional menu is available.

Then on Saturday 29th August it's the turn of Eagles tribute band Desperado to entertain at The Sands Venue.

It takes a unique combination of skill and talent to reconstruct the sound of one of the music world's greatest treasures, The Eagles.

Desperado is a world class Eagles Tribute Band consisting of five extraordinarily talented and accredited musicians.

They have performed all over the world including many venues in the USA and the Peppermill Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada, described them as "the best tribute band we have ever heard. All of these gentlemen extremely talented musicians."

Tickets cost 30 and include a three-course meal.
