HILARITY is on the cards for all as the Funhouse Comedy Night returns to The George at Kirton-in-Lindsey next week.

The headliner will be comedian and trained actress Mandy Knight - the first female comedian to compere The Comedy Store.

Having done stand-up all over the world and won many awards she is popular for the individual nature of a lot of her material and the recollections of her past whether happy or not so happy. She is renowned for a quick tongue and fast delivery which keeps the crowd engaged.

Support from the appealing and perceptive Barry Dodds who supported The Boy With Tape On His Face on tour and recently appeared in BBC2 TV’s Hebburn series.

A spokesman said: “He captivates his audiences with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit. His mix of surprisingly uncanny and irrepressibly cheeky material has them in the palm of his hand.”

Completing the line-up will be Sean Turner using his facial expressions and mad storytelling to amuse the audience.

The compere for the night will be the genial and lively Spiky Mike.

Funhouse Comedy returns to The George at High Street, Kirton-in-Lindsey on Sunday 3rd February at 7pm with an 8pm start.

Tickets are £8 in advance and are available by visiting www.funhousecomedy.co.uk
