Maltby residents have been rewarded for all their green fingered work.

The horticultural show organised by the town council attracted dozens of entries last month for all ages.

There were entries in plants, flowers, vegetables, baking and preserves. Youngsters also got in on the fun entering the colouring and artwork competitions.

Judges also ventured outside the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall to pick the winners of the allotment and garden competitions.

Last week the winners gathered at the hall for a special prize giving ceremony where they were presented with their trophies, plaques and rosettes.
