Tomorrow, December 2, is the date for the switch-on of the Christmas lights from 6pm on Church Meadow.
Live music will include community carol singing, there will be special deals on hot food, with hot mulled wine (and non-alcoholic drinks) provided by the parish council.
The Christmas tree festival is again in the parish church – bring trees along after 1pm on Friday. The tree festival will run from tomorrow to Saturday, December 10.
Businesses, organisations, and residents are invited to dress a Christmas tree in time for the occasion – there’s a £5 fee but the best-dressed tree will win a prize.
Call 01427 891376 to book your space.
There’s a chance to vote for your favourite trees, just call in, fill in a ballot paper and post it in the special box.
The winner of the ‘people’s choice’ best Christmas tree will be announced on Saturday, December 10, at a coffee morning in the church.
