There’s an extended range of attractions for children with rides and inflatables, dozens of stalls, and a line-up of old and interesting vehicles.

Refreshments will be on sale; the bar will be open. Entry is £2 for adults; accompanied children are free; unaccompanied children £1.

A lucky winner will take away the £100 first prize in the raffle; tickets are on sale this month (available from the organisers or at The Misterton Centre).

All the event’s profits go to local charities and good causes.

Don’t forget the new gala scarecrow competition. Get your registration form (so the judges know which houses to visit) by emailing mistertongala@gmail.com, or call 891629.

Scarecrows should be up from Saturday, June 18.
