A FEW weeks ago we featured a group of people taking part in the celebrations to mark the Silver Jubilee of King George V on 6th May 1935.
Here’s another one and shows that the partying did not just take place in parks and open areas but also in streets and back lanes.
Bunting has been put up to connect the outhouses either side of the lane and the residents, mainly women and children, have gathered together to have their picture taken on this historic occasion.
Note a few people leaning on the wall in the centre background who don’t seem too bothered about being in the photograph.
Does anyone know the location?
