......Armed with a two pound coin, I strode purposefully to Somerfield with the noble intention of bringing back good honest food to the table of my 'family'.
Little did I know that the meal I was to produce that summer's day would go down in folklore as, and I quote, "the worst meal in history". Quite an honour.

I was thinking that we needed to get some vegetables in our diet, we must have been on the brink of scurvy.

I also wanted some protein in there. Then it came to me...cauliflower cheese.

And what could we have with it? (You have to remember that Guy would refuse to eat a meal with no meat in it).

What meat could I get to feed three people for 45p?

Twelve economy beefburgers. That's what.
