Some drivers should learn rules of the road

ALTHOUGH it is a few years ago now I do remember that when I learned to drive I was always taught to give way to traffic coming from my right at a roundabout.
I am not aware that the rules of the road have changed since then so perhaps someone would be kind enough to convey this to some of the drivers in Gainsborough who seem totally incapable of negotiating the set of mini roundabouts along Middlefield Lane.

I am aware that these are relatively new but am obliged to point out that there are road signs telling drivers they are approaching a roundabout.

A mini roundabout is no different from an ordinary one!

I have had a number of near misses, the most recent being last Friday when I had to screech to a halt to avoid a woman driver who had not even looked in my direction and yes, I was coming from her right.

One wonders how some of these people managed to obtain a driving licence as I'm willing to bet they most certainly weren't taught to drive like this.

Does Gainsborough have a different highway code to the rest of the country then?

Or is it just that some Gainsborough drivers lack basic intelligence when it comes to roundabouts?
