Land 'off limits' to man's best friend

I AGREE with the Levellings being out of bounds to dog walkers.
But not to the neglected piece of land laughingly called a park at the top of Scouts Hill.

Children can't play football there. The goal posts have long since gone, other games can't be played there either as the grass has not been cut in ages. Several cars have been burnt out there too.

It is, however, being used by teenagers, as evidence of beer cans and smashed glass bottles can be seen. It is a lonely piece of land, not overlooked by homes and during school holidays it remains empty.

I'm talking about the grass play area, the path is used. So sooner than let my dog walk there the council is prepared to let it be wasted. Good old Gainsborough Council.
