COMING up in this week's bumper four-page Standard entertainment guide is a veritable feast to keep you busy this Valentine's.
Everton Village Players are putting the finishing touches to a play which tells the tale of a trial about The Cracked Pot - and only a cracked pot would miss it.

Standard man Chris Etchells has been out on the town this week enjoying a curry at The Moonlight restaurant on Trinity Street.

And we've also teamed up with the Blue Whale Dive school for a fantastic reader giveaway where you get the chance to try out scuba diving!

44 Inch Chest is the big screen offering that comes under our microscope.

And Standard Stalwart Dave Green starts a review - "Every now and then you hear an artist for the first time and think, 'What have I been missing? Well, although this isn't the first time Reg Meuross has played concerts in the area, it's the first opportunity I have had to go and see him – and what a revelation he was!"

Artist Marie Wood is featured showing an exhibition of paintings, sculptures and collage at the Art In The Bar slot at Gainsborough's Trinity Arts Centre.

And of course there is plenty more where that came from, only in the Gainsborough Standard Guide!

If you've got something going on that you want us to include in the Guide, why not let us know on newsroom@gainsboroughstandard.co.uk, or call 01427 619574.
