This pet store is brill, they stock lots of supplies and keep some live animals in store too! They are always very helpful and offer good advice!

i have used the dog house the many of years and they have always been polite and they no what they are speaking about the shop is a 100 times better then trim pets they are so rude at trim pets and u ask the onwer about the fish and she not got a clue the dog house is the best shop i have come across i got my new tank from there friday and was very shocked what they put in my tank and very happy at what they give me and got free delivery to

We have been using the Dog House for 4 years & have always been more than happy with the service provided. The staff go out of their way to be helpful & are more than happy to let you browse alone. I have been able to handle many of their livestock without being pressured to buy!! Got a rabbit last year & a guinea pig 6 months before that & they ALWAYS ask about them. The shop itself is clean & well stocked & its obvious to me that the staff really do care about the animals they sell. If we cant find what we’re looking for they are happy to order it in no matter how small the quantity. Best of all my own dog is always very welcome there & the owners often have their dogs in store. We sometimes drop in just for a chat!!

i have used the dog house for along time when i had racing pigeons for all my food and i get all my rabbit food from there never had any problems i always find them very polite and helpful and the shop is always in very good and clean condition all pets from there are always well looked after and cared for i would have no hesitation in recomending them to anyone very good all round shop, i also have supplied the dog house with rabbits as i breed them and all my rabbits are in very good healty condition as ive had people come from grimsby and skegness to get baby rabbits from me and i know how well doghouse look after all there pets that they sell

Just to set the record straight, The Dog House, Gainsborough, is without a doubt the best pet shop in the town. The wealth of knowledge and range of products contained within this tiny shop are second to none. The staff are friendly and welcoming – never pushy. They always go the extra mile to source products for my running dogs which I breed, compete and judge on a national level. I have also purchased small animals from them over the years which have always been healthy and well cared for, I cannot praise this unique business highly enough.

I have been shopping at the doghouse for several years now………….they have been extremely helpful especially when i had problems with my dog, I have no hesitation recommending them to my friends..

I have used the dog house for years to get all my animal supplies and have always had good service. The staff are very helpful and always have the time to answer and queries. I will continue to use the dog house as cannot beat the service I have received there

I have bought all my dog food and other supplies from The Dog House for several years now, and have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. They will deliver to your home, or carry your heavy purchases out to the car. The proprietors, dog owners themselves, are usually in the shop, and always ready to help or advise on any questions. They carry a good range of stock (better than some of the bigger stores), and if they haven’t got an item they will order it for you. They have even bought special grooming tools back from a dog show for me, with no extra charge!
I enjoy my weekly visits to buy dog food, they usually include a friendly chat, a greeting from the resident dogs, and a look around the small animals and birds who always look cosy and well cared for in their clean and roomy cages.

Having read some of the negative reviews on here I just have to say that they are SO wrong. We have been buying cat and rabbit supplies from The Dog House for ages and have no problems with the attitude of the staff, they are always helpful. In fact they have ordered things in especially for us. They treat us more like friends than customers. In addition we actually bought a rabbit from here a few months ago. It is a lovely animal and was very well looked after when we bought it. The staff always ask after her when we visit and are always keen to get an update on how she is doing.
