Gainsborough news

A SPECIAL exhibition is taking place at the Gainsborough Heritage Centre in memory of the town’s fallen heroes.

Over 500 servicemen from the area were killed or declared missing during the First World War.

Following on from the successful booklet of the same title, Fallen Sons of Gainsborough will feature information on the brave men and women of Gainsborough and District who made the ultimate sacrifice.

This exhibition includes a recreated trench scene and ‘dug-out’.

The Fallen Sons of Gainsborough exhibition will be at the Gainsborough Heritage Centre at The Old Post Office, 12, North Street, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, DN21 2HS.

The exhibition will run from 23rd February – 28th April.

Admission £3, or £1.50 for members.
