Your Heritage Centre needs you!

To recognise the 70th Anniversary of the Dam Busters Raid, the Gainsborough Heritage Centre will be holding an exhibition titled ‘Our part of Bomber County’ starting on Saturday 11th May. The exhibition will cover the history of RAF stations at Blyton, Hemswell, Scampton and Sturgate and will feature both the military and social aspects.

A spokesman said: “Our archives and collection hold various items, however more items are needed to compliment the exhibition. Have you lived, worked or served at any of these stations? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you if you can provide anything that could help.”
