WLDC hails skills fair ‘a huge success’

The Lincolnshire Co-op team at the WLDC Skills Fair

West Lindsey District Council’s Employment and Skills Fair has been hailed a success by employers and job seekers.

The event attracted around 200 visitors at Lincolnshire Showground’s Epic Centre and offered people the chance to find out about training, voluntary and career opportunities direct from business and training providers. Clare Jenkinson, 49, from Misterton, went along to find out more about retraining or volunteering.

Clare said: “I’m looking for volunteering opportunities, retraining or further education. It’s been very useful.”
