BUS users will no longer be left out in the rain, after two new shelters were built on Gordon Street and Shakespeare Street in Gainsborough.

Couns Trevor Young and Judy Rainsforth used £2,000 of their councillor initiative funds to revamp the old, vandalised structures.

“For ten years we have been fighting to try and find out who is responsible for these shelters, and to get them back up to a decent standard,” said Coun Young.

Coun Rainsforth added: “This will really benefit the community.”
