A clever lad from Willoughton has been rewarded for his love of a good read.

Francis Elwess, five, from Willoughton Primary has been awarded for reading 100 books.

The youngster was delighted to receive a certificate and a book token for his amazing achievement.

A school spokesman said: “Well done to Francis! He received a certificate and a £5 voucher to buy his 101st book - which we’re sure he will love.”

The spokesman added: “We are very, very proud of him!”
