Pints of gratitude for CAMRA members
Members of Gainsborough CAMRA present a cheque for 415 to St Barnabas Hospice in Morton G121116-9
PINTS of gratitude were in store for the Gainsborough branch of CAMRA after they worked hard to raise hundreds of pounds for a good cause.
Members of the Gainsborough area Campaign for Real Ale group presented a cheque for £415 to St Barnabas Hospice at the George Henderson Lodge in Morton.
Gainsborough CAMRA is one of the smallest branches in the country with around 70 members, but that doesn’t stop them pulling off hugely successful events like the Gainsborough Beer Festival at the Old Hall as part of Octoberfest - which attracted more than 1,500 visitors this year.
The branch’s next local meeting will be at the R Bar in Gainsborough on Tuesday 15th January from 8.30pm.
