A NEW Barnardo’s charity shop has opened its doors in Gainsborough - and staff need YOUR help.
The shop at the new Tillbridge Centre, on Corringham Road, raises money for children in poverty, young carers and families looking to foster or adopt.
Manager Jo Price said that things have been going well since they opened, but they always need more help with donations and volunteers.
“We’ve had quite a few people in the shop and it’s been brilliant,” said Jo. “But we couldn’t do what we do without everyone’s generosity.”
“We’re always looking for item donations and of course volunteers are one of the most important things.”
She continued: “At the moment, it’s just two of us running the shop and we could always use an extra pair of hands.”
“No matter how much time you have to spare, whether it’s a few hours or a few days a week - every little helps and none of this would be possible without volunteers.”
- Barnardo’s, at the Tillbridge Centre, on Corringham Road, Gainsborough, is open seven days a week from 9am-5.30pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am-4pm on Sundays.
