NEWS: The Gainsborough Standard
A CELEBRATION is set to take place at Misterton Old School this month and all are invited.
Following a Local Improvement Scheme project, the clock on the Old School Building in Misterton (which now houses the Library and Youth Centre) has been restored.
On Saturday 16th February at 11.30am there will be a celebration event when the Chairman of Notts County Council will officially reveal the restored clock and cut a celebration cake. A display of old photographs and newspaper articles relating to the school and village will also be on display and there will be an opportunity for people to record their memories of attending the old school.
