WORKSOP Air Cadet Kieran Simcox has brought home a selection of swimming medals.

In September 15-year-old Kieran represented Air Training Corps 303 Worksop Squadron at The Wings swimming competition. Here he broke the Wing backstroke record which Worksop Squadron has held since 2004. He brought home two gold medals and a silver.

Next he represented the Wing at the regional swimming competition, claiming a gold medal for backstroke and two silvers.

Then on 27th October Kieran represented the entire Central and East Region at national corp level, winning two more silver medals.

“It is a great achievement and the whole squadron is very proud,” said Flight Lt Carl Leadbeater.
