GAINSBOROUGH residents are reminded that next week YOU cab have your say on local crime issues and put your questions to candidates as the town is set to host a hustings event ahead of the upcoming Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner elections.

PCCs will be responsible for setting priorities for the police force, overseeing its budget and hiring the chief constable.

Elections are set to take place on Thursday 15th November. The hustings will see each of the candidates stood side by side on stage and give them the chance to present their views to public.

The four remaining candidates will be appearing at Gainsborough’s Trinity Arts Centre on Tuesday 13th November at 7pm.

For information call Gainsborough Town Council on 01427 811573.
