A Kexby civil servant and Taishi, a three-year-old Japanese Chin, proved every dog does have its day after walking away with a top prize at Crufts over the weekend.

Owner Rhonda Banks said: “It is all I have known coming to Crufts. Taishi did what he had to do, and did very well at it. He is a bit tired now but I’m happy to have picked up Best of Breed.”
