Donation provides a fun day out

A DONATION of £100 to the Children’s Centre in Misterton helped fund a day out for parents and their children.

District Coun Hazel Brand made the award from her councillor’s community fund and presented the cheque to some of the mums and children to benefit from the trip.

Around 50 parents and children were scheduled to go to Sundown Adventureland near Retford in late August. The day provided a day out for those without transport or on benefits.
