NEWS: The Gainsborough Standard

Young people in the Air Cadets from Gainsborough and the surrounding area are celebrating after receiving a grant worth nearly £500 for ‘astounding achievement’.

Youngsters have received over £460 from the Thonock Trust to buy equipment for a successful Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.

The 203 Squadron Air Training Corps run the scheme at Bronze, Silver and Gold level from their base at the Drill Hall, on Ropery Road in Gainsborough with nearly 50 young people aged 13-20 involved.
